Day of Wedding Coordinator | Part Time

This is a contract part-time position. Duties include attending/coordinating wedding rehearsals (1 hour) plus day of wedding ceremony duties (approximately 3.5 hours). Wedding coordination experience helpful. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills: punctuality and reliability.

pastoral Residency program

The Riverbend Pastoral Residency is a two-year leadership experience for adults who want to learn how their gifts and talents and impact the city of Austin. Through mentorship from seasoned leaders, spiritual training in a cohort setting, and pouring into the weekly ministries of Riverbend, Residents will gain knowledge and awareness of how a life of following spiritual principles and serving others has lasting importance whether they pursue a calling in ministry or a more secular career path.

 

While the day-to-day of the residency experience will look different for each individual, there are also collective experiences that the Resident cohort will share together. These include participating in the staff’s weekly meetings and contributing to special events. Also, the cohort will meet weekly to discuss ministry experiences and to reflect on the nature of God’s call to serve in a life of ministry. Additionally, residents will meet one-on-one with their ministry lead, attend retreats, and can expect to be given responsibilities in areas that Riverbend has deemed critical to discerning gifts and call which include spiritual formation, leadership development, administration, and relational ministry.

The Riverbend Leadership Program is a 10-week leadership experience for those who want to learn how their gifts and talents could further the Kingdom of God and bless the city. Through mentorship with pastoral staff and community leaders, spiritual formation, engaging in a cohort for shared learning, and pouring into the weekly ministries of Riverbend, interns will gain knowledge and awareness of how a life of following Christ and serving others has lasting importance whether they pursue a calling in ministry or the marketplace.
