For the next six weeks we will be leading our children into an awareness of stewardship where giving is good and every gift counts.  Each child is created in a  special and unique way to share their gifts and talents so they  will become more like Him.  This special series will encourage kids to have an impact on their world by serving others and giving to the community around them.

Sept. 5

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that they should put the needs of others above their own.
Main Point: I Will Put Others First!
Bible Story: Paul and Silas minister to the jailer (Acts 16) Memory Verse: "If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important" (Galatians 6:3).  

Sept. 12

Lesson Goal: The purpose of this lesson is to teach the children that they should look for ways to help others, even when they are not asked to do so.
Main Point: Servant Leaders Help Others In Need Without Being Asked!
Bible Story: Jacob moves to Egypt (Genesis 45: 16-47:12) Memory verse: "Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them" (Proverbs 3:27).  

Sept. 19

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that because God has given them everything, they should willingly give back to Him.
Main Point: God Is Generous; I Should Give Back to Him!
Bible Story: Jacob's dream (Genesis 28:10-22)
Memory Verse: "But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves" (James 1:22 ).  

Sept. 26

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that God wants them to be generous toward others.
Main Point: Heroes Are Generous!
Bible Story: Abraham and Lot (Genesis 13:1-11); Feeding of the five thousand (John 6:1-13); The poor widow (Mark 12:41-44)
Bible Verse: "For God loves a person who gives cheerfully" (2 Corinthians 9:7c ).
