Make the adventure you will never forget! The
adventure that will change your life and the way you understand the
Bible! Visit the place where Jesus walked and taught. Let those images and
experiences help you to see the Bible in a new light and increase your
understanding of what God was doing in Christ.
Our Tour will include such sights as Caesarea by the Sea
(our Home for Hope is modeled after the outdoor amphitheater there), Mt.
Carmel, the Arbel Cliff, Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha, Cana, Megiddo, the
head waters of the Jordan River (with the opportunity to be baptized, if you
wish), a ride on the Sea of Galilee in a boat similar to one from Jesus’ time,
Capernaum, Hazor, a view of Mt. Hermon, Dan, Caesarea Philippi, Beth Shean,
Jericho, St. George’s monastery, Mt. Scopus, Jerusalem, Mt. Olives, the Church
of Ascension, Tomb of the Virgin Mary, Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of
All Nations.
We will also visit Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity,
Masada, Dead Sea, Qumran, the Shrine of the Book, Western Wall (Wailing Wall),
Dome of the Rock mosque, Pool of Siloam, Church of St. Anne, Pool of Bethesda,
the Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Holy Land Model, the
Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Garden Tomb.
The cost of the tour is $3859 and includes airfare
from Austin to Tel Aviv and back, hotel rooms, breakfast and dinner daily,
daily sightseeing by a tour bus with a qualified driver and a licensed guide;
entrance fees to all sightseeing, including the Sea of Galilee boat ride and
Masada; all transfers and porterages (1 suitcase per person); all tipping to
hotel and restaurant personnel, porters, drivers and guides; a flight bag and
strap; and a 96 page “Pilgrim’s Guide to the Holy Land” book.
It does not include a single room supplement of $675; travel
insurance cost of $252; beverages with meals or the lunches each day except for
one, passports, personal items and immunizations. I highly recommend
getting the travel insurance.
