Financial Ministry

As part of Riverbend’s Financial Ministry, PocketWatch is designed to enrich individuals at every stage of their financial life by effectively learning to deal with day-to-day issues related to finances.  Even more, it’s about finding the peace and joy that comes from discovering the freedom created by learning what the Bible teaches about basic financial principles.You will discover valuable tools and develop skills that will help you take control of your finances. After completing this course, you will have a clearer understanding of Biblical financial principles and the simple steps to implement them and how to lead a life where you control your money rather than your money controlling you.  Continuing throughout the year, the PocketWatch Series will have sessions on Retirement Planning, College Funding, Insurance, Estate Planning and other valuable financial topics.

PocketWatch is facilitated by a volunteer group of experienced, professionals, through which Riverbend has been greatly blessed.  This group will be there each night to provide help with most financial questions and concerns.  This group has helped dozens of families and individuals work through financial crisis and achieve greater financial stability in their lives in a confidential environment. Don’t have time for a class?  Don’t worry, facilitators are also available to provide one-on-one, individualized and confidential guidance if desired.

Next class will be offered in the Fall of 2012.  Financial coaches are available assist in the interim.
