"Rain" by Rob Bell 8/8/10

Friends of the faith:  We  viewed "Rain" by Rob Bell, where he describes our God's loving care when we travel through storms of life. He invites us to, "come to me, all of you who are weary and heavy burdened". The distinctions that are unique to the Christian faith are knowing God is our loving father, He offers and desires an intimate and personal relationship with each of us and that we don't have to have it "all together" to be acceptable to HIM. God, through his son, Jesus Christ, takes us just as we are, through Jesus' work on the cross, offering us Amazing Grace. My reaction!! Thanksgiving to God for who our God is.  

All of this is well and good, but making these conflicts and differences into actual communication is far more difficult than it seems.  We spoke of our troubles and of our successes!
