Couples with Kids
We are...
a group of imperfect parents trying our best to show our kids how to love God and to love others. If you don’t have it all figured out and sometimes lose sleep wondering if you are doing the whole marriage and parenting thing well, then you will fit in just fine with us. We have a TON of fun, both diving into the scriptures each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. bible study, and at our frequent activities and events. If you are looking for a place to connect with like-minded couples, each of whom are facing the same challenges and joys of raising a family in Austin today, then we are your community group at Riverbend Church. Sunday Morning
Every Sunday morning at 11:00 in Quad 5, you are invited to an opportunity to come together and learn both from God’s Word and from each other how we can become the types of parents, spouses and believers that God wants us to become. The open discussion format of the study allows us to grow together, learn from each other and explore how we can apply the Bible to our daily lives. Parenting can be challenging. It isn’t always easy. The Riverbend Couples with Kids community provides a place where we can come together, and build relationships, talk about our challenges, learn from each other and grow together. Our regular activities and events provide a forum where lasting friendships and relationships can be created and provide opportunities to get together and have fun with other Couples, both with our children and without. In addition to getting together to grow both spiritually and socially, learning how to serve together and give back to our church and our community is an important aspect of our Christian lives. The Couples with Kids group provides opportunities to teach our children the importance of serving both within our church and outside its walls. Come visit our group and find out what’s going on, whether it be on a Sunday morning for our weekly class or for one of our many activities.

We Pray for One Another
We want to pray for you!! We all face trials and struggles throughout our lifetime, so we are committed to praying for each other. Prayer requests are taken during class and emailed to the group weekly. If you have a specific or confidential prayer request, please contact
DeDe Kellicker. Confidential requests will only be shared with the facilitator and overseeing pastor of the group. (Please be sure to let us know whether the request is to be shared or kept confidential!)
