Riverkids Vision
Our vision is to partner with parents to build a foundation of faith and love that will lead the heart of a child to God.
Sunday morning programs for our Riverkids are unlike any "Sunday School" that you remember where you sat around a table listening to stories about Jesus and doing a craft or color sheet. While this was good and we did learn, your children will be WOW'ed with God's love through an interactive, creative and child-targeted activities. Each hour is filled with high energy music, media, skits, games and more. You will be amazed at how much they absorb about Jesus in this exciting environment. Become a volunteer and see it first hand! And...it's fun being a kid again!

Babies
The Riverbend Nursery program is for babies and toddlers ages birth through 36 months (not yet potty trained) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Sunday mornings. The Nursery Building is located directly opposite the Home for Hope behind the Involvement Center.
Birth to 3 years (not potty trained) go in the Nursery/Preschool building. We provide a loving, nurturing environment for the little ones through rocking, holding and playing. Our goal is for each baby to feel comfortable as he/she begins to develop an understanding of the surroundings at church. Babies and toddlers will feel God's love at Sunday school through the heart felt love of the staff and volunteers caring for them.
Additionally, todlers get to attend their own Tiny Tot Theater with music and lesson presentation.

Toddlers - Tiny Tots Theater
We offer a Sunday morning
Theater for 2 & 3 yr olds featuring music, drama, puppets, &
creative movement. We focus our teaching on 3 basic biblical truths:
- God made them special
- God loves them
- Jesus is their friend
We believe these are building blocks in giving young children a foundation for their spiritual formation. It is a fun & interactive way to
introduce Jesus into their lives.

Pre-Kindergarten Preschool Program
The Riverbend Preschool program is for children 3 years old (potty trained) through 5 years old but not yet in Kindergarten. It is provided from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The classrooms are located in the lower section of the Fellowship Hall. Look for the colorful RiverKids sign leading you downstairs.
Our preschoolers experience the joys and benefits of learning about the character of God and the life of Jesus through several creative agendas. We start the hour with small group relational time where they have opening activities, games and music. Then they learn some biblical truths through creative drama, puppets, music, media and prayer in a large group theater. As we seek to build a foundation of faith in these children, we place special emphasis on the spiritual principles of love, kindness and respect.

K - 3rd - Primary
The Riverbend Primary program is for children Kindergarten through 3rd grade. It is provided from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Classrooms for elementary children (Kinder-3rd grade) are located in the lower level of the Fellowship Hall. Look for the colorful RiverKids sign leading you downstairs. On arrival children get name tags at our check in station and then go to their classroom.
Our Primary program provides children a more in depth understanding of God, His Son Jesus, and biblical values through age appropriate lessons, creative games & activities, music and media in our large group theaters. Our series covers old testament heroes, Israel's exodus, the life of Jesus and Paul's journey of faith. Additionally, kids will learn the principles of noble character, Christian values, the Armor of God and the Fruits of the Spirit. The spiritual formation of kids is being shaped as they grow in knowledge and are being led to the heart of God.

Pre-Teens - Studio 45
The 4th and 5th grades have come together in their own building, Studio 45, to form the Preteen ministry. Our exciting Preteen Ministry offers 4th and 5th graders an opportunity for spiritual growth and socialization.
We recognize that these kids need there own space and place to identify with their life stage. We work to connect with kids to develop a fun to discover the "why" of their FAITH.
Sunday mornings provides the kids innovative lesson presentation with music, media, and interactive games. A strong emphasis is placed on relational ministry to connect with Biblical Values and life application.
